FUTURE OF CARE WITH SCOTTISH HEALTH AND NESTA
My most recent work includes a collaboration with Scottish Care and Nesta as they explore innovative ways to improve the health care system for its users.
The 3 part project which will travel around the country later this year examines the issues with the current system and imagines what a better future could look like.
COMMONWEALTH FORUM OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS
Earlier this year I worked with CFIHR on a set of 3 digital illustrations exploring the pandemics impact on the disability community.
EASY READ, CITY BRIDGE TRUST
I am currently working with City Bridge Trust, a funding organisation based in London as they move to a more equitable way of working, open for business to all those groups who need support by making sure their work is accessible.
As part of this, I have been creating funding based easy read illustrations that reflect the disability community
TOWARDS EQUITY, NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND REPORT
This year The National Lottery Community Fund commissioned a report into how their funding can be of the greatest help to disabled people. It was an absolute joy to illustrate this report & help communicate some of the challenges facing Disabled Peopled Organisations. Find out more about the report here
THE ACCESSFUL FOUNDATION
I am lucky enough to be one of the founding trustees of The Accessful Foundation. A bloomin' wonderful disability charity which celebrates disabled entrepreneurship, champions disabled people and actively tackles the disability employment gap.
DARING DAZZLING DREAM SHOP
I was lucky enough to collaborate with an incredible author on the design of her new YA novel! The Daring Dazzling Dream Shop is a magical realism story of a young girl who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, determined to change her destiny with the help of some friends and more than a touch of magic.
It was an absolute dream project and such a joy to work on. I’m so proud of what we’ve created & I can’t wait for it to go on sale later this year
DISABILITY THROUGH THE AGES
Disability Through The Ages is a project set to be complete Winter 2021.
It examines disability culture over the past 100 years and, through art, celebrates the achievements and milestones of our community. It is a challenge to the aesthetic of art, success and narrative of history that has come to be known in popular culture.
